Merx is an e-commerce SaaS. It integrates clients and partners APIs, such as VTEX and Syte, customizing search filters, sign-on, payment options, and more. As a White Label, it generates personalized design tokens according to clients brands, launching a complete mobile app in just weeks. Developed in Flutter for iOS and Android.

How might we build a

Goals

We identified specific goals to solve during the MVP design

Launch

Develop an White Label e-commerce MVP mobile app baseline experience. The app should enable to plug-and-play VTEX APIs and a minimal feature-set, that could be build, tested and shipped in 1 month.

Reusable

The app needed to have a well structured Design System that should be reusable changing tokens according to clients brands, typography and visual identity.

Responsive

The app had to be adaptable to all mobile operational systems, such as iOS and Android, and different size of screens. Also, in specific situations it should use the systems own components and interactions.
