Tok&Stok is a reference in furniture and decoration in Brazil. The brand seeks to combine design, exclusive products and practical solutions for everyday life. When entering a Tok&Stok store, the customer is able to find everything for home and office, in a confortable environment. The brand has partnership with national and international designers, resulting in high quality design at attractive prices, also including the transportation and assembly of furniture.

The research identified 2 primary problems to solve with the app

Physical to digital experience

Tok&Stok is known in Brazil for its giant stores with a lot of decoration inspiration, where you can try each one of their products. One of the main challenges was to enable clients to have a similar digital experience.

Decorate is not an ordinary skill

People agreed that Tok&Stok helped them to choose how to decorate their homes and workspaces. This meant that the app cannot be a transactions only e-commerce.

Launch

Develop a shippable omnichannel MVP baseline experience for Tok&Stok. The new app should enable to present the same informations that the existing website gave, a minimal feature-set, that could be build, tested and shipped in 3 months. 

Inspire

The app have to as inspiring as the physical stores. This meant that the app experience need to present different collections, tips and inspirations to their clients.

Innovative

The experience should be as close as a physical store using the best technology available, as augmented reality, widgets and in-store interactions.
